I’d like to say thank you for always being there
For always putting me first and for taking great care
For putting up with my temper, however bad it may be
For loving me despite of and just simply accepting me

Thank you for understanding when even I barely can
My shifty moods and cravings; my little quirks and bents
For knowing when to tell me to stop and when to indulge me too
For always looking out for me and reminding me what to do

Thank you for putting back my faith to happy ever after
For giving me reasons to smile again and share life’s crazy laughter
For giving me strength and knowing that I could always lean on you
When things get tough and uncertain and problems can get me blue

Thank you for not giving up on me when I couldn’t see the light
For being patient and dedicated; for holding on real tight
I never really thought we’d be together the way we are today
It still really amazes me how we eventually found our way

But most of all, thank you for being courageous enough to try
For standing firm on your feelings and for choosing not to lie
For convincing me to trust you to cherish the most important part
And so I leave in your keeping my most precious heart.
